The Literary Tour of Concord
After the Americans won the American Revolution, an  "Intellectual Revolution of The Hearts and Minds"  forged a cluster of American Literary Giants we celebrate today through their most famous works: Little Women, Self-Reliance, The Scarlet Letter, The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere and  Walden. The Literary Tour of Concord will visit the historic homes of Louisa May Alcott and Ralph Waldo Emerson; and the  "shores of Walden Pond,"  where Thoreau resided.  Francesca Taverna will lead the Literary Tour of Concord where her passionate knowledge of literature will  "light up the historic homes!"

The Henry Wadsworth Longfellow House is the only historic house on this tour located in Cambridge.
